UpperBee: Committed to Training the Next Generation in Property Management

January 5, 2026 | Property Management, Property Manager, Software | Manager
UpperBee is proud to play an active role in training future property managers and helping prepare a competent, tech-savvy generation that understands the realities of the field.
Because supporting today’s managers also means training those of tomorrow.
A New Meeting with Students at Cégep Saint-Laurent
On January 9, the UpperBee team will have the pleasure of meeting again with students from the property management program at Cégep Saint-Laurent, following an invitation from their professor, Fouad Adouani.
This meeting provides a tangible opportunity to connect academic training with real-world experience by presenting the challenges of the profession and the tools that are transforming property management on a daily basis.
A Presentation Focused on Real-World Challenges
Martin Savoie, Training Manager at UpperBee, will share his expertise as both an instructor and industry professional. Through concrete examples and case studies, he will demonstrate how the UpperBee platform addresses operational, human, and regulatory challenges faced by property managers.
These exchanges will help students better understand the strategic role of all-in-one software in managing buildings and communities.
‘‘It’s an excellent opportunity to share our property management expertise and discuss with students the importance of technological tools for managers, while improving the resident experience! Every year, I’m impressed by the next generation’s interest in our industry. They are dynamic, curious, and passionate about technology. It’s a privileged opportunity to pass on our know-how and nurture the next generation of professionals.’’
Martin Savoie, Training Manager
Focusing on Applied, Industry-Ready Training
The programs offered by Cégep Saint-Laurent are designed to prepare students for the realities of the professional environment. The school offers two college-level certificates (AEC) that aim to develop practical skills directly applicable in the field:
- AEC in Condominium Management (720 hours): Training focused on specialized condominium management, including legal and operational realities of condominium boards.
- AEC in Property Management (900 hours): Program designed for those seeking to work in property management more broadly.
These programs strike a balance between theoretical knowledge and mastery of industry-specific technological tools.
A Partnership Supporting Professionalization
The collaboration between UpperBee and Cégep Saint-Laurent perfectly illustrates the importance of partnerships between academia and industry. By sharing its expertise and technological solutions, UpperBee actively contributes to preparing the next generation of property managers. This partnership reflects our commitment to building a stronger, better-equipped, forward-looking industry.
By integrating software realities into student training, we help them get a head start on their professional careers.
Thanks to Fouad Adouani, BAA, MBA, for his unwavering commitment to quality education, for his continued trust in our team, and for the invitation!
