Taxe credit for home support
November 19, 2021 |
People Seventy (70) years old and older are eligible to receive a tax credit for expenses that allow them to stay at home longer. We are talking about the TCHS (Tax Credit for Home Support). In condominiums, many operating expenses are tax deductible.
Did you attend our webinar on Friday, November 19, 2021, on the subject to allow you to learn about best practices and facilitate the production of the report? This webinar, an exclusive training tool tailor-made by the team to inform managers and enrich their knowledge presented by Martin Savoie, in charge of customer experience at UpperBee.
The objective was to learn how to prepare this tax credit for home support, review eligible expenses, configure eligible co-owners, and learn how to automatically generate the tax forms with UpperBee.
Martin also recalled the eligibility conditions:
- Have a full calendar year of condominium fees and expenses charged;
- The co-owner must be over 70 years old;
- Own the unit;
- The unit must be the principal place of residence; and finally
- Only one person per household can claim the TCHS.
With UpperBee this process is optimized and automated. Your customers will certainly be satisfied.
This webinar once again highlighted the value of UpperBee for management companies, condominiums, and rental properties.
